The Lancashire under 14s starlet notched 15 fours on his way to 110 but it was not enough as the home side's total of 270 was overtaken with four balls to spare by Brooklands.
That was despite an excellent spell of four from 48 from spin ace Joe Clark - a performance described as outstanding by skipper Shahnawaz Khan who was upset by six dropped catches that he reckoned ultimately cost them the much needed victory.
Khan was however full of praise of Prakash describing the young batsman's show in front of a bumper crowd as "fantastic from a player with a very bright future."
Another teenager amongst the runs was Zach Thompson who top scored with 127 in a narrow defeat at Alderley Edge for the first XI.
The 18 year old Cheshire ace has been struggling with his bowling but more than made up for it with the bat thus cementing himself as a fast emerging all-rounder.
Timperley captain Ed Galley, who himself is finding good form of late, lamented the grim start with his team eight for three before they rallied.
Galley and Thompson led the counter attack forming an aggressive partnership worth 118.
"I eventually fell for 71 leaving us on 202-5 with ten overs left and a platform to push for 300 " said Galley who went on: "Our star was undoubtedly Thompson, who has turned his fortunes around in recent weeks, with some impressive, clean ball striking to score his first Premier League century of the season. He eventually fell for a superb 127 as Timperley amassed an about par 297."
Galley added that his bowlers lacked discipline with wides and extras allowing Alderley to comfortably keep up with the rate and triumph with an over to spare.
The skipper said: "The only Timperley bowler offering control was another teenager Aryan Dash, who went for only 27 off his ten overs. It’s frustrating that we haven’t got over the line again...just not winning the big and pressure moments often enough. I’m really pleased for Thompson who’s coming into his own now and displaying what a good cricketer and asset he is to us."
