A key part in making a success of any amateur sports team is the generosity of people. Rob and Karen Matthews epitomise that for us at Timperley. Rob has not only played with great success for the club, but has generously donated many hours of his time over the past 10 years as a highly successful junior team manager. The Matthews' are a permanent fixture around the club with sons Tom and Jamie coaching at every junior age group and Karen cheering all three on at the weekend. We are very lucky to have them.

We wanted to share a few words from them about their outstanding nursery as board sponsors at TCC and urge all of our members to share far and wide:

"Narnia Day Nursery has been very pleased to support Timperley Cricket Club for the last few years, particularly as many of our children go on to play for the club. Narnia is a small family run nursery which is highly recommended in the centre of Altrincham. Owners, Karen & Rob, have just celebrated 20 years in the business. Karen is a former primary teacher and Rob swapped a sporting career for nursery life. Although the last year has been the most challenging year of all, we move forward caring for children 3 mths - 5 yrs, giving them a 'home from home' experience. Narnia has rooms suitable for three age groups; babies, toddlers and pre-school and a large outdoor space for all the children to use all year round.
