But his quick fire maiden century in the top Cheshire league sadly wasn't enough as Alderley Edge won by five wickets.
Management consultant Ed, aged 26, said afterwards he'd have swapped the plaudits for the points!
He is in the form of his life which he puts down to increased confidence.
Afterwards Galley said: "It was ultimately a disappointing day at the office for TCC as they unfortunately failed to defend 307 after having Alderley 105-5 in the chase."
"We had a quick start with runs flowing but found ourselves struggling at 101-6 on a good batting deck that still offered a bit for the seamers early doors. From here on with Chris McCarthy I was able to rebuilt and slowly we won back the momentum in front of a big crowd enjoying the heat wave."
"Chris was ran out for an important 30 which brought in talented all rounder Zach Thompson and he made a valuable 40 as we finished with 307 all out."
In response, Alderley started in aggressive fashion but a flurry of wickets mainly courtesy of Jonathan Fowler, who bowled beautifully to reduce Alderley from 70 for no loss to 105-5.
Seemingly TCC were in full control and poised to strike for the win, however Pat Ashling and Reddy both came to the crease and batted positively on what was still a good batting pitch to slowly take the game away from Timperley.
With 60 runs still to get, Paddy looked to have been caught at deep cover and the game turned, however a slight step back by Thompson onto the boundary rope gave him a reprieve and a big turning point in the game - and the visitors eventually chased down our total with four overs to spare.
Meanwhile it was spin ace Aryan Dash who was man of the match for Timperley seconds who triumphed in a tense encounter at Oxton...a key victory as the team drives up the league after a shaky period.
The 14 year old Altrincham Grammar pupil, who is a star Cheshire county player, picked up four wickets for just 17 runs in nine overs as the Wirral team crumbled to 128.
Skipper Shahnawaz Khan, who himself recorded three wickets and hit 29 runs, said the majority of the team contributed in the morale boosting victory.
Khan did however pick out veteran Richard Page for his gritty 24 not out from 64 balls and in form Felix Birtles for their contribution with the bat.
