The fast bowling pair took ten wickets between them as Timperley first team sent the visitors home with their tails between their legs.
They ended up 67 all out in reply to Timperley's modest 162 - and that led to the traditional beer based celebration in the Stockport Road clubhouse.
Skipper Ed Galley said the result was needed to keep up the pressure at the top of the league after a couple of disappointing results.
Speaking after the game, Galley said "Mainly courtesy of recent Cheshire Men’s debutant Freddie Vaughan Hawkins with 46 and other contributions from me and Nathan Brown. While nowhere near the normal high scores at Timperley this season, 162 was more than competitive in bowler friendly conditions."
"This proved to be the case as arguably one of the best opening bowling partnerships in the league in Fowler and Page made light work of the Chester's batting line up as they were bowled out in a brutal display of swing and seam bowling."
Page, who has been on fine form this season, finishing with six wickets in the match taking his tally in the league to 33 as second leading wicket taker. Fowler, nicknamed the ‘The Provider’ ‘The big family man’ our resident huge South African seam bowler, who is into his fourth season at Timperley contributing with the other four wickets.
"It was a great performance from the lads, I think we grafted hard and batted through some tricky periods against some highly skilled bowling. I truly believed at the half way stage that 162 would be more than enough for us to defend with the quality of our bowlers and that’s exactly what Pagey and Jono showed."
It was revealed later that Galley had gone against all his team and after winning the toss decided to bat rather than bowl.
Meanwhile the second team went back to their old ways losing once again at Cheadle.
Skipper Shahnawaz Khan blamed poor batting and the absence of quality players.
Cheadle scored 214 for seven and Timperley only managed 130 all out.
