The 24 year old batsman from Down Under hit 116 off 90 balls in a record breaking fourth wicket partnership along with county wicket keeper Freddie Vaughan-Hawkins who scored 109.
But despite the heroics of the duo Timperley had to settle for a dramatic draw.
Reynolds from Sydney doesn't hide his Australian roots sporting a mullet haircut and handlebar moustache!
After his dream debut having arrived in the UK only days earlier he said: "Why was I an instant hero? A great night out in Bolton I reckon!"
"Seriously they a great bunch at Timperley and there was a lot of preparation. The pitch was different, a bit more tennis bally than at home and it wasn't that warm out there so had to put the layers on. I have been learning to build an innings, this time with Freddie...looking ahead to the whole game."
"One of their players shall we say criticised one of my shots so I hit the next ball for six. The sledging wasn't anything like I'm used to. Next up it's Nantwich and we'll smash 'em."
Skipper Ed Galley praised the great knock of Alex Money who steered the home side to 322 helped by some poor fielding from Timperley.
"It was a rough start to the Timperley innings, but after a few early losses Timbo and Fred got stuck in. The two batted with great class and decision making to change the game in our favour from an almost an unwinnable position."
Tim and Fred both made maiden TCC 1XI centuries in what was an amazing and recording breaking 1st XI 4th wicket partnership of 226.
"Both men got out in quick succession leaving us 80 to win in 15 overs. Nathan Brown and Zach Thompson played a great hand in getting us close to getting over the line."
Galley added: "After needing just one off the last two balls, we unfortunately didn’t manage to get any and had to settle for a draw. It was a great sign of intent from TCC that we are serious contenders to beat anyone this season.... a great group of players that can go very far."
Meanwhile the second team were badly let down by a lack of athleticism in the field and an alarming number of dropped catches yet still beat Cheadle!
Veteran Rob Matthews rolled back the years to crash 70 and Josh Van Dellen with a carefully crafted 57 set a formidable target of 253 with the visitors battling to 237 all out.
Fifteen year old Josh, a junior Worcestershire academy player and a member of the emerging player pathway at Cheshire, was the first recipient of Shahnawaz Khan's player of the match which the skipper presented to him.
Shahnawaz, the pick of the home bowlers with five for 42, praised the character of the young team who kept up the pressure on their experienced opponents.
Josh, a Manchester Grammar School pupil, said he had trained hard throughout the winter and had taken on board top level advice to be more aggressive at the crease.
