Brash Aussie Tim proved a big hit at Timperley last season slamming 938 runs including four centuries.
The club wanted to sign him up again such was hit impact on and off the pitch, particularly amongst the young players who in the main loved his no nonsense, old school coaching style.
He proved quite a character with everyone he met once saying he prepared for his headline grabbing debut by spending the night before in a Bolton bar!
But he's reluctantly now told the club he won't be returning due to family business commitments - he's heavily involved in a cricket coaching academy in Sydney.
The club are currently checking out scores of would be replacements through long established contacts and club websites notably in India, Pakistan, Australia and South Africa.
Club skipper Ed Galley while bitterly disappointed it's Tarra Tim, he's optimistic about the would be new boy.
The normally up front Ed was cagey when he said: "An announcement could well be imminent...watch this space."
