Timperley were first in the field on a warm sunny day, at the half way stage it looked like the game was in the balance with Ashley on 78 for 3 of 22 overs, but the Ashley middle order put bat to ball & they ended on a very respectable total of 209 for 5.
Timperley struggled with their response with the bat, with Old boy Jim Mcall being the pick of the bowlers as he rattled through the top order claiming 6 wickets in the process as Timperley slumped to 40 for 7, only some judicious hitting my Mahteen Ahmed for a well deserved 60, gave some respectability to the score, with Timperley all out for 108.
It can be said that Old boy Jim Mcall well & truly put his old team to the sword.
